Juhyun Tony Bae is a Korean-Canadian writer/commentator based out of British Columbia. He started writing as a child in South Korea before becoming disconnected with it when he moved to Canada at the age of eleven. It was not until university when he took a writing class for extra credits that he rediscovered his love for writing. Under the guidance of Micheline Maylor and Richard Harrison, his hobby soon turned into a passion. Within a couple of years, he earned two paid publications: a short story, Comet, at FreeFall Magazine, and his poetry, To Fill the Silence, took third place in Wax Poetry and Art's 10th Poetry Contest. This gave him the confidence to leave behind computer sciences to properly pursue the craft. Most recently, his short story, Union, won first place in Grain Magazine's 29th Annual Short Grain Contest.
Outside of writing, Tony lends his voice to commentating in the competitive e-sports scene. His main game currently is Defense of the Ancients 2, but he has previously worked on League of Legends, and Hearthstone. He also aspires to be a video game critic, you can follow his work on his YouTube channel.
